Modesty and Fashion, continued

I guess what I mean is that I really don't like my style most of the time, but I'm too poor to buy new clothes that I really really like as opposed to what I actually own, and have for years, and then most of the time when I find something I like, it's too SMALL!!! But I have decided that I am gonna be a clearance rack cute Pregnant lady! Maternity clothes are sooooo cute, and they are geared towards making a big tummy look cute! How 'bout that???

I have never really followed fashion, I just like what I like. If it happens to be in style, then so be it. I'm just trying to get across the idea that you don't have to wear a burlap sack in order to be modest, you can look nice. Just don't look at me as an example because right now I don't even like my own style very much, but until it's maternity clothes time, I can't do much to change it right now. :-)

At any rate, I'm gonna have to break out the sewing machine again. Like I have any time for THAT right now!

if YOU think YOU look frumpy, so will everyone else. if you think you look radiant, you will BE radiant. you are beautiful, just let it shine through.

I agree with Jaci. And by the way... you have always been beauiful and radiant.
I know Brad would tell you the same.

Best way to get clothes you like is to make them. Once you leave work and have time to sew, fabric stores always have cute fabrics on sale or clearance =) we can have...like...a sewing party or something...lol

I like the idea of having a stay at home wife, even if it means I have to work my other five jobs ;-) You're the most beautiful girl I know because you're the most modest person I know. I love that I've found sombody in today's world who actually gets that you don't have to look like the world to be beautiful, there's nothing attractive about worldliness except to the carnal mind, spiritual beauty is beheld only by a spiritual heart, the closer I am to the Lord, the more beautiful you become. I think you're the perfect role model(poster child) for the young ladies of the next generation because it's not about being stylish and accepted by the world, it's about being beautiful in the eyes of our Savior and spiritual men who have enough spirituality to appreciate spiritual beauty. I'm not the "poster child" of a spiritual man, but I know beauty when I see it, and that's why I married you.

Okay, can the rest of us women post this comment on our refrigerators? You know...a friendly reminder. This is very touching because I know you mean it.
